12. Tags

We may use other industry-standard technologies such as tags to track your use of our website. Tags are tiny graphic images placed on certain pages of our website that enable us to determine if you have taken a specific action. When you access these pages, the tags generate notice of that action and transmit personal data to us about your use of our website, such as [system, mobile]. Tags allow us to measure and improve our understanding of visitor traffic and behavior on our website, as well as our advertising campaigns and performance.

We may also use tags provided by our marketing partners for the above purposes. These tags may transmit certain personal data about you to our marketing partners (as further described below). We will only activate these tags if you consent.

We manage tags through an interface offered by Google Ireland Limited: Google Tag Manager. The interface causes other tags to be activated that may cause the collection of personal data about you.

You can control whether and how cookies and tags collect personal data about you by opting in or out via the cookie banner that we present to you upon your first access to the website, or through the settings on your web browser (as explained below).

„Do Not Track“ technology – Some newer web browsers have a „Do not Track“ setting that sends a „Do Not Track“ header to the websites you visit with the information that you do not want your activities to be tracked. Currently, we do not respond to browser „Do Not Track“ signals.

Opt-out – You can decline cookies, tags, and HTML5 local storage by adjusting the appropriate settings on your browser. Every browser is different, but many browsers (such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari) have settings or options that can be set to decline cookies and certain other technologies before they are set or installed, or you can remove or decline the use or installation of certain technologies generally. If you want to learn how to change your browser settings, please use the help menu on your browser.
